Thursday is Quiz Night here at Mr Grundy’s Tavern! Hosted by our good friend at Groovy Events, Quiz Master Freddy AKA DJ Austin Powerz, join us for a 25 question Quiz Bingo, followed by play your cards right and Open the Box.
Quiz
£1 Entry per Person. Our quiz is a 25-question general knowledge quiz bingo, with drinks vouchers for lines of correct vouchers and a pizza voucher for the highest scoring team! Our quiz is for teams of up to 6, but if your group is larger we will make sure you are sat together. 9 For the Wine – Closest to the answer of question 9 gets a free bottle of house wine of your choice.

Open The Box
Following the quiz, for £1 per ticket you can play open the box. Once everyone has entered, we draw one ticket for the night for a chance to pick one of our 6 mystery boxes; all filled with fun prizes and the top cash prize. We roll over the cash prize of £25 each week it remains unclaimed, so ask behind the bar for each weeks total prize.
Basket Meals
For quiz night, we offer a snack menu of £5 Basket Meals – including Cheeseburger, Hotdog, Chicken Strips and more – all served with a side of chips.
Pizza is also available from 5pm till 9.45pm from the Pizza Pony
